Honey Festival with St. Bernard
Honey Festival with St. Bernard – Pelplin, August 15, 2025
On August 15th, Pelplin once again buzzed with life during the annual Honey Festival with St. Bernard. The weather couldn’t have been better – warm, sunny, and perfect for a summer celebration.
The day began with a solemn Mass at the Cathedral Basilica, and later the area around the Kociewie Cultural Center turned into a lively space full of music, workshops, and tasty local honey. Visitors enjoyed concerts from local young talents as well as performances by
Agata Sowa & Friends
and
Maciej Smyczek’s Plays Bob Dylan project.
There were traditional beekeeping shows, honey-making workshops, and plenty of stalls with regional food and crafts. Families with kids had their own fun zone, while honey lovers could sample and buy different kinds of golden sweetness.
In the afternoon, at 3:00 PM, the community gathered again for solemn Vespers at the Cathedral. A nice extra touch this year was a classic car meet, which added even more color to the day.
It was a joyful, sunny, and tasty celebration – one that has already become a beloved tradition in Pelplin.
